Hello there. My name's Jesse, nice to meet you. I'm an 18 year old college sophomore, majoring in occupational therapy. I'm a liberal bisexual feministic atheist who loves science, history and reading.
If I sound like your kind of person, or if there's anything else you wanna know, please don't be afraid to talk to me. <3

I dare you to watch this and expand your tiny worldview.
I dare you to watch this and picture yourself in one of those beautiful girls’ shoes.
I dare you to watch this and not cry.
I dare you to watch this and not be grateful for the life you live, no matter how challenging it may seem at times.
I dare you to watch this and not go to bed tonight, unharmed and safe from predators, in your warm and comfortable bed and not say a silent thank you for the life you live.
I dare you.
i couldn’t even watch it all.. this really got to me..
i started crying around 3:40. but wow. this is. i can’t even speak. i would hate to have something like that happen to me.
today i saw someone ask (in a really snide way) “What rights do girls not have these days?!” oh the irony…
It disgusts me that this only has 4,000 notes, when a picture of a girl in a fucking floral tubetop and high wasted shorts will get over 50,000. Everyone should see this. These girls are so beautiful and so strong.. I can’t even imagine what that must be like for them.
Feel-Good Story of the (Fri)Day: Last week, fans at a Superliga semifinal match between rival Brazilian volleyball clubs Sada Cruzeiro and Vôlei Futuro erupted in chants of “bicha” (the Portuguese equivalent of “f****t”) aimed at Vôlei Futuro’s middle blocker Michael (see video below).
The incident forced Michael to come out to the media, telling reporters “I’m gay. Everyone knows who I am. My team fully respects my sexuality.” In fact, Michael said that, following the match, “his teammates came up to him to make sure he was okay.”
But the show of support for Michael was just beginning: During a second semi-final match last Saturday, Vôlei Futuro wore pink warmup shirts as a sign of solidarity, while the team’s libero donned a rainbow-flagged tee during the game. Meanwhile, the crowd displayed a giant banner that read “Vôlei Futuro Against Prejudice,” and thundersticks imprinted with the word “Michael” made sure to drown out any shred of homophobia that may have lingered in the stadium.
And in case you were wondering, Vôlei Futuro won. But they would have been winners either way.
